In 2025, power-pop-punk rock band Vertigo Bliss reunited after years of absence in the Northwest music scene. Launching in 2000 with their debut album “focus,” they were dubbed “the rowdy trio” by area music editors, melding off-the-wall humor, tongue-in-cheek sarcasm, and ‘comedic tragedy’ with thoughtful, heart-piercing song writing. During their supporting tour for their sophomore album, entitled “phonophobic,” (2003), Vertigo Bliss signed with EMI and Budweiser as only one of one hundred bands worldwide to represent the True Music Live initiative, shining a spotlight on new and undiscovered bands. They are also featured on several compilation CDs, including Shut Eye Records’ Buzzlighter series entitled “Sharp Cuts,” and the Butch Walker Tribute album “Too Much Rawk for One Man.”
