Chase the Bear
Chase The Bear is a Canadian rock band that’s all about the hooks. We add a dynamic blend of soul, pop, and hip-hop influences to our music. We’ve performed over 150 shows, including a sold-out opening slot for The Trews at Vancouver’s iconic Commodore Ballroom that will stick with us forever.

What sets us apart? We started as a busking duo and quickly evolved into a 6-piece band of likeminded people who have bonded as brothers and brought our musical chemistry and infectious energy to crowds all over Canada.

We signed with Vancouver-based record label Rock Is Dead Records and released our debut album “Honey” in 2023. The first single “Underwater” was a contender for the Vancouver Canucks goal song. As we write multiple songs per week, we’ll be recording and releasing lots more as we venture through 2024, igniting a new era of our rock and roll journey. Follow us to get caught up on all the things happening in the CTBEU (Chase The Bear Extended Universe).

“Inspired by the likes of The Trews and The Glorious Sons, Chase The Bear, given time and resources, could join the ranks of these successful Canadian rock bands.”

-Darrell Gilmour (Vice President, Macklam Feldman Management)

“You must see this band. Let’s help them establish a core base and turn this into their proper new home … Chase The Bear were relentless from start to finish.”

-Jon Williams (DJ and Host, What Was That Radio)

“One kickass rock band”

-Colin Macdonald (The Trews)
